Objectives and Challenges
Royal Canin aimed to accelerate operational decision-making and strengthen marketing strategies by developing custom dashboards for two different user groups.
Key challenges included:
- Designing a layout optimised for readability on large screens,
- Ensuring real-time data flow,
- Providing a clean and intuitive interface to support strategic decisions by the marketing team,
Addressing the diverse needs of different users within a unified system.

Approach and Process
The project was structured around two core use cases:
- Office Dashboard: Designed for large screens to visualise operational data and ensure transparent internal communication.
- Marketing Dashboard: A user-focused interface tailored to monitor campaign performance and facilitate data-driven decisions.
The UX/UI design process was carried out using interactive prototypes and refined iteratively based on user feedback. On the technical side, front-end and back-end teams collaborated closely to implement real-time data integration.

Design and Technology
The dashboards were developed with a modern and clean design language. Interfaces were simplified in line with UX/UI principles, and data density was optimised to prevent user fatigue.
Notable technical approaches included:
- Real-time data streaming,
- Modular component-based architecture,
- Improved contrast and typography for enhanced readability,
Responsive design compatible with various devices.

Results
The dashboard solutions successfully addressed two distinct business needs for Royal Canin:
- Operational transparency: The large-screen dashboard facilitated improved inter-team communication.
- Marketing efficiency: Campaign performance could be monitored in real time, accelerating data analysis processes.
- User satisfaction: Interfaces were optimised based on feedback, providing a smooth and accessible user experience.
Informed decision-making: Real-time integration enabled teams to make more conscious, up-to-date decisions.
Project Team
The project was carried out by a five-person team:
- 1 Project Manager
- 2 UX/UI Designers
- 2 Developers (front-end and back-end)
Throughout the project, the team maintained close collaboration, ensuring that all deliverables met the highest quality standards.
