Challange
The main challenge was designing an interface that supports fast and accurate operation on a handheld terminal. Based on real user habits and usage conditions, the interface needed to present critical information clearly, minimize cognitive load, and remain usable in demanding operational environments.
approach
We designed the interface around operational workflows, prioritizing visibility, logical grouping, and immediate access to key controls. Visual hierarchy, contrast, and feedback states were carefully structured to support quick comprehension and confident interaction on a limited screen size.
All interaction decisions were driven by usability and reliability rather than visual complexity.
Result
The final handheld terminal interface enables users to control and monitor systems quickly and confidently. By aligning the design with real usage scenarios and device constraints, the solution improves usability, reduces interaction friction, and supports effective system control in critical situations.
